Teaming Opportunities

Cornell teams with business and industry to pursue federal and private sector contracts. For example:

  • Dell, Intel, Microsoft, and The MathWorks teamed with CAC to win an NSF MATLAB on the TeraGrid grant in order to advance their understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) technologies. Later, NVIDIA contributed GPUs to the project measure GPU performance with MATLAB applications.
  • High Performance Technologies, Inc. teamed with CAC to meet online training and education deliverables for federal clients using Cornell Virtual Workshop technology.
  • Ocarina teamed with CAC to advance their data compression technologies and introduce them to a broader array of customers. The company was subsequently acquired by Dell.

CAC can be a valuable test-bed or proof-of concept partner on projects that, for example, need to demonstrate scalability or performance. CAC has a professional staff of systems, applications, database, Web services, and visualization consultants.

Cornell's breadth and depth means there are many ways to team with Cornell to make your public and private sector proposals more competitive.
