Richard Knepper

Rich joined the CAC staff in 2017 as the Deputy Director of the Center, coming from Indiana University's Research Technology division, where he was the manager for Campus Bridging and Research Infrastructure. He earned his PhD in Informatics at Indiana University's School of Informatics and Computing, with focus on the development and adaptation of the XSEDE project to user and NSF requirements. Rich is also the manager for Community Resource Integration in the XSEDE project. Rich's research interests revolve around cyberinfrastructure organizations supporting science and public management network theory, campus clouds and federations, and cloud-ready research applications.
