The Linux Clusters Institute (LCI) will hold an introductory-level workshop at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH on August 22-26, 2022.
If you are a Linux system administrator new to HPC, this is the workshop for you! In just five days you will:
- Learn HPC system administration concepts and technologies and how to apply them
- Get hands-on skills building a small test cluster in lab sessions
- Hear real-life stories and get to ask experts questions in panel discussions
The tentative/draft schedule is available here. The fee is $545 through July 15 and $650 after July 15.

A select number of rooms have been reserved in the LCI room block at a rate of $199/night plus tax. Call (603) 643-0600 and request a room in the LCI room block. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The block will only be available through Friday, July 22, 2022. Six South is approximately a 5 to 10-minute walk to the Dartmouth Haldeman Center.

A select number of rooms have been reserved in the LCI room block at a rate of $189/night plus tax. Call (603) 448-3300 and request a room in the LCI room block. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The block will only be available through Friday, July 22, 2022.
Note: there is a free bus that runs until about 6:00 pm from campus. The bus ride from campus to the stop nearest the Hilton Garden Inn is 15 minutes; then there is an approx. 10 min walk from the stop to the hotel. However, we recommend that those without a vehicle stay at Six South which is within walking distance.
Manchester NH (MHT) or Boston Logan (BOS). Recommended ground transportation from either airport is Dartmouth Coach. There is an option on the registration form to purchase a campus parking pass if you’ll be driving in for the workshop.
